Eagles of Death Metal put out a cover album last year. It's fun to hear their #hardrock take on come classics, including Family Affair. I Want You So Hard matches their style exactly -- #fun, but not taking itself too seriously. I love the cameos in the music video.

Black Joe Lewis & The Honeybears are from Austin, but they remind me of a bunch of great New Orleans #blues bands. It feels wrong to listen to this music on a computer; it's definitely meant to be heard live and outside.

I generally think of The Heavy as a pretty hard rocking band, but this is a great example of modern #funk and #soul.
